This will be his go-to drool contraption, and the colors and cords will engage him. When he ages a bit more, he’ll love to try to figure it out – where does this cord go? When it comes to playing with babies, how much your child gets out of it is directly related to how much time and effort you put into it. "Baby's development doesn't happen in a vacuum," says Rachel Coley, a pediatric occupational therapist who blogs at Can Do Kiddo. "A big part of baby hitting key milestones and gaining skills has to do with the materials, experiences and opportunities to practice that baby receives. By choosing toys and activities that match what your little one is ready to work on, you make the most of your infant's awake times and set the stage for important early learning."

This is one of the newest (and best-selling) games so far in 2018.  In fact, it’s one of Kickstarter’s 50 most backed projects of all time.  Pretty impressive.  This super fun/crazy unicorn-based game is for the older kids.  They say 14+, but plenty of parents who’ve reviewed and played feel like 10-12+ was perfectly fine.  Either way, the goal is to build your own unicorn army (mainly by betraying your friends).  Be the first to to build the army of 7 unicorns and win this strategic card game!

Boys are now really familiar with all the colorful pictures and words from one side, I think we will switch to the Farm side soon. This mat was also very helpful for crawling and learning how to walk – it’s definitely better than a hard floor, so all the falls didn’t hurt so much 🙂 I love this mat – it engages baby in many ways, it helps in baby’s development and makes learning so much fun.
